The French Heritage Festival is held each year in Ste. Genevieve's Historic District. This event celebrates 300 years of French culture in North America and recognizes Ste. Genevieve's status as having the greatest concentration of authentic French Colonial architecture that exists in North America.

About the event
The French Heritage Festival is held each year in Ste. Genevieve's National Historic District. This event celebrates 300 years of French culture in North America from Quebec to New Orleans and recognizes Ste. Genevieve's status as having the greatest concentration of authentic French Colonial architecture that exists in North America.
The festival includes music, dance, storytelling, French cuisine and other refreshments, an evening open air dance with Creole music, wine and beer, reenactments, promenades (parades), and French Colonial architecture tours.
