Well, we at 573 Magazine have been busy again showcasing all the incredible talent up in these hills. You can hide, but we’ll find you. Recently, we got the opportunity to create some video content and a marketing program for Mary Jane Burgers and Brew in Perryville. Working with our good friend and serial entrepreneur, Carisa Stark, is always a wild ride! And last Saturday evening, we attended the Faux Red Carpet event at the Warehouse, hosted by Carisa, for the release screening of the film. We ate, drank, laughed, and had a great time. We are just so honored to be a part of this—too much fun.Â

Creating the film for Mary Jane Burgers and Brew was like wrangling a greased pig at a craft beer festival. We're not talking about slapping some meat on a bun and hittin' it with a cell phone—that's not how 573 rolls. Like everything we do, be it shooting a dead fish or the King of England, we put all we have into everything we touch. Everything we touch. Did I write that twice? YUP! Here’s the finished product. Â
Watch the short film NOW!

Ear Horn wielding grumpy Mr. Jenkins played by Mickey Hertwick of Marquand—his first acting gig. Dude may not know this, but he has talent. Â

Young Mary Jane was played by actor Skyler Gollaher from Farmington. Skyler has been in several of our feature films produced in the area. She is a giving and super-talented actor. Â

Mabel Hasty plays the evil Producer's assistant, and she is a server at Mary Jane Burgers and Brew.

Location scouting led us to a retro kitchen so perfect it screamed 1940s grease and glory thanks to Denny Ward.Â

And special thanks to all the others who made this all happen, from the production team to the Mary Jane cook and wait staff—and the Mary Janes, of course. We LUB you all. Â
